Think of this as a modern take on the classic shirtwaist silhouette, with the skirt cut on the bias for sleeker lines and beautiful movement. It has a discreet hook-and-eye detailing to cinch your waist if you'd rather go sans belt, and this checked cotton has just a touch of give. (We actually call this mechanical stretch — it’s technically 100% cotton, specially woven and finished to provide “give” and movement without containing any Lycra.) Note that due to the circle hem on the skirt, this dress cannot be lengthened.
